Use Asia in Pocket Planes

It is a very great idea to base your airport in Asia. India and China have huge populations and their close enough together to use class 1 or any type of airplane. I think that having these are a great idea. I have never run out of jobs. I currently have these airports, Japanese ones, Istanbul, London, and Paris. They're very good. The Japanese ones will run out of jobs because of low populations except Tokyo. I don't like them as much. I plan to maybe expand to either large airports in Europe, Middle East or Around Jakarta area. (These are rather expensive so if you're a lower level you probably can afford this)

Level 20 +

1. Have several class 3 airports that serve as the center for the type 1 or 2 airports around it. You wont see much profit from the big planes but it will be great profit for the smaller "shuttles".

- Good Clusters include: New York- Boston- Philadelphia- DC area, Japan, London-Paris and surrounding airports, Brasil's large airports, and India's Karachi- Bangalore- Kolkata area.

2. There is the other choice of getting rid of all the small planes and airports all together and just flying between the class 3's this idea could work well if you upgrade several key airports to make sure enough flights to them are available to make it profitable.

Quick Hint

One good “Cluster” of airports to have is the Boston-New York-Philadelphia-Washington DC area. Its a very useful profitable cluster to have. It is also good to upgrade some of the smaller airports in your clusters. I have this cluster allong with London and the other British airports. I should upgrade these airports because they don't get many jobs. ONE LAST THING - The Event happening right now. Until we have enough followers I won’t make a flight crew. So for now u can join the crew I’m in now “Jayisgames”. Plus for this event i have an equinox flying between Buenos Aires and Santiago.

Buying Planes

  • Buy plane parts instead of the whole planes you will save money even though it takes longer.
  • M planes are useful because either way you can get the job that needs bux (its also useful for the big event it lets you get more flights there even if you're flying from smaller airports)
  • P and C planes keep it simple and less complicated while choosing which jobs to take, so you get the bonus for filling them up
  • Its best to choose your planes based on what type of airports you have (dont buy type 2 planes if you have only type 1 aiports etc.)
  • OF the airports are close together try not to use big planes to make those trips you wont make as much money (mustangs and equinoxes are great for this)
  • Its a cool idea which i follow to only get one mohawk p for instance and not build several of the same plane. To make a kind of collection out of your planes.

Level 10 - 20

  • With the type 2 airplanes you will have to have type 2 or 3 airports. You may need to close down some of your type 1 airports.
3 main ways to use your airports;

  1. fly between only type 2's with type 2 airplanes and type 1's with type 1's TO KEEP IT SIMPLE
  2. OR get rid of the type ones all together and just fly between type two airports (not recommended for Australia or Africa)
  3. OR make a system of two or more type 1's clustered around a type 2 and have type ones shuttle jobs to these airports in the cluster, and with the type 2's  travel between the type two airports carying jobs to the airport and the clustered airports using layovers and the shuttle.

  • I would keep these two clusters on the same continent but make sure that your type 2 airplanes can make the trip without stopping if possible (you may need to upgrade the type 2 airplanes) (Europe and Asia or N. America and S. America)

Starter Advice

Need some advice to help you with your Pocket Planes?

Under level 10

  • Use quick short flights to nearby airports
  • Try to fill up your planes (all to the same airport if possible)
  • Use layovers if necessary
  • If you need to go to several airports in sequence go to the closest and stop there
  • Once you get there pic up more going  to the same place or somewhere along the way, or a bit farther in the same general direction
  • PICK UP THE BUX JOBS. You need bux for airplanes.
